We wen to Walter's with a large group. The food was amazing - so many great dishes and such good value, great service and a great ambience. We will definitely come again. Love the look of the restaurant and the little cocktail bar on the side.
Had a wonderful lunch with friends. It was the first time to this hotel and was recommended by one of my friends who attended the lunch. It was on a Monday so not very busy. Great to sit in the dining room looking out across the water and catching up with some wonderful people. Food was fantastic, staff very friendly. It was a great afternoon, and we will definitely return.
We have always loved the ambience and food at The Royal Hotel and were really excited to try out, Walters Dining when it opened. After having been expats in Singapore for twelve years, we felt very nostalgic dining here. The food and exquisite cocktails were top notch and I adore the vibe of the bar area. Really fun place to bring friends, and I love the music aspect too. Our new local fave!
I was blown away by the care and consideration given by the Royal Hotel. I had a function booked, tables outside. On the day of the event the weather conditions were not promising which left me a bit concerned but before I had a chance to call them they had called me to offer me two other options to choose from , inside the restaurant and in the Reading Room. I was so touched by the customer service. And a special shout out to Simone for this incredible service. We had a great night and also, the food was delicious! Thanks team!
Wow, wow, wow - fabulous to have this wonderful food, ambience and service so close to home in Mornington! Had a wonderful dinner at Walter's this week - every mouthful was delicious, loved the decor, and staff were helpful and always there when you needed them. Reasonably priced too!

Great old Peninsula pub with a spectacular view. Wonderful ambiance in the Walters room. Excellent attentive service with a good menu. Food was a tiny bit spicy for our taste, but good sized portions with fresh and varied ingredients. We’ve found a new regular place to dine out.
